The pool before any work was done. The mesh cover will still be used for the winter.
A concrete saw is used to cut away the deck.
A jackhammer, shovels, wheelbarrow, etc. finnish making space for the mechanism enclosure.
The pressure treated wood enclosure is built.

We don't want anyone falling into the mechanism enclosure while the cover system is in production!
The pool cover system is installed, the cover is open.

The cover is now closed.
Remember the mesh winter cover? New anchors were installed so the mesh cover can still be used.
